PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 12:
* Brandon David Holbert, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protection order and fined $426.48.
* Dennis Ray Smith, 39 Elly Ave., Beverly, had a charge of battery dismissed without prejudice.
* Donovan Fredrick Moore, 3000 Morningside Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of destruction of property, $2,500 or more, dismissed.
* Joshua Joseph McCune, 1406 Avery St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of breaking and entering. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jacob Allen Stewart, 30359 Trouble Creek Road, Portland, Ohio, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of malicious or unlawful assault. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Morgan Makayla Beckett, 2402 Clement Ave. Apt. A, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and fined $181.48.
* Rachel Naomi Kress, 46 Vanfossen Lane, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $226.48.
* Brandon Gentry Elam, 155 Warren Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $467.96.
* Sara Beth Miller, 1171 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, was arraigned on charges of worthless check, speeding and released on $500 bond.
* Destiny Naveah McAfee, 49 Lantana Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $500 bond.
* Eugene David Harker, 700 Barclay St. Lot 10, Belpre, was arraigned on five counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $5,000 bond.
* Robin Jerome Richards, E 29385 Belpre Pike Road, Coolville, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting, less than $500, and a count of shoplifting, greater than $500, and held on $500 bond.
* Damion Thomas Norris, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of failure to process, obstructing and shoplifting, greater than $500, and released on $500 bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 13:
* Jessica Hope Kelley, 1101 Quincy St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and released on $500 bond.
* Douglas Allen Shafer, 4152 Laurel Creek Road, Waverly, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $10,000 bond.
* Tyler Allen Baxter, 442 Stanley Mills Rd., Little Hocking, was arraigned on a charge of accessory before and after the fact and fleeing on foot and held on $2,000 bond.
* James Wesley Whitlock, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and released on $500 bond.
* Stephanie Ann Whaley, 1115 15th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of first-degree robbery and released on $20,000 bond.
* David Bryan Shuman, 1006 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting, less than $500 and shoplifting, greater than $500, and released on $500 bond.
* Heidi Anna Marie Talafhah, 1100 12th St. Apt. #9, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $500 bond.
* Alishia Marie Hardman, 2327 Pennsylvania Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, having expired registration and having expired MVI and released on $1,500 bond.
* Nichole Marie Knopp, 700 Knopp St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Priscilla Renae McClung, 79 Stoney Creek Rd., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Marcus Gregory Lopes-Dapaixao, 1705 Rayon Dr. Apt. B, Parkersburg, had a charge of burglary dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Vernon Edward Sprouse Jr., 321 Owensport Dr., Palestine, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Mark Aaron McIntyre, 65 Beardsley Road, Lowell, had a preliminary hearing waived for a count of burglary. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Brandid Lee Jackson, 1808 Worthington St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $817.36 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg. A charge of fleeing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Charles David Amore, 3925 Tenth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $191.48. He was ordered to pay a $357.96 civil penalty to the Kroger store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Tony Winfield Menefee, 2116 Miller Ave., Belpre, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Brown Willard Salyers II, 1750 Seventh St., Parkersburg, had a charge of a misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed.
* David Lee Scruggs II, Parkersburg, had charges of destruction of property, battery and domestic battery dismissed with prejudice.
* Cheryle Ann Short, 1855 Pike Road, Ellenboro, had a charge of failure to pay child support dismissed with prejudice.
* Amanda Jane Queen, 2918 Newbury Road, Little Hocking, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed.
* Timothy Allen Alkire, 4013 Powell St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one day in jail which was ruled as time served. He had charges of public intoxication and petit larceny dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to illegal entry, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 45 days in jail.
* Brandon David Holbert, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, fined $426.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was ruled as time served. He also pleaded guilty to obstruction, fined $226.48 and sentenced to 10 days in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Marcus Gregory Lopes-Dapaixao, 648 Holbrook Ave., Deltona, Fla., pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to attend treatment.
* Matthew Kyle Hall, 2016 16th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of receiving or transferring stolen goods. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Bryce Michael Stacy, 1624 Hill St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to defective equipment and fined $186.48. Charges of driving on a suspended license and expired registration were dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and fined $752.96. A charge of speeding in a school zone was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Justin Matthew Tinney, 1176 Red Hill Road Apt. 105, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and failure to maintain control and fined $387.96.
* Ronnie Lee Nelson Jr., 35 Parkville Dr. Apt. 53, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48. A charge of traffic control sign violation was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jordan Michael Woodford, 101 Schilling St., Marietta, had a charge of having no insurance dismissed after presenting proof to the court.
