A half century ago Parkersburg South was born out of a need to add a second high school to the growing community. The school has become one of the premiere schools in the state. 鈥淧SHS鈥�50鈥� takes a look at the people and events that helped start and shape the school over the five decades it has served families on the south side of the Little Kanawha River.
